The Directorate General of Books, Comics and Reading of Spain, through the Subdirectorate General of Library Coordination, promotes the celebration of Libraries Day this October 24, 2024.

From 2019, the slogan 'Aptas para todos los públicos' (Suitable for all audiences) will be incorporated into the celebration, which will be present in all activities to be launched. In addition, the celebration of Libraries Day has from that moment a different theme every year, and this 2024 will be 'For a sustainable future'.
