Bea Lema has been awarded the National Comic Prize of Spain, for the year 2024, by the jury that met today. The prize, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, is endowed with 30,000 euros.
The jury highlighted the work “El cuerpo de Cristo” (Astiberri) for “being an innovative work, risky in the formal aspect, with textures and compositions that transcend the most commonly used techniques without renouncing the use of humor and a poetic aspect.
