Later, during a long trip to Australia, he decided to dedicate himself seriously to writing and it was there where he created “Arthur Baker,” the character of this first fantastic novel, “Arthur Baker y la Puerta del dragon,” which has placed him on the literary scene. ACTUALIDAD LITERATURA: Your novel is titled “Arthur Baker y la Puerta del dragón.” What can you tell us about it and where did the inspiration come from?
LUIS MADORRÁN: It tells the story of a twelve-year-old boy living in Edinburgh who suddenly finds himself trapped in a completely strange world ruled by knights and full of mythological creatures and magic. There he discovers unknown things about his past, while trying to unravel a terrible mystery that threatens this magical world.
