Julia Navarro returns to Latin American bookstores with “El niño que perdió la guerra.”

The Spanish writer announced that her new novel will be published in September. The book deals with the totalitarian ideologies of the 20th century and the transforming power of culture.

Writer Julia Navarro (Madrid, 1953) will return before the end of the year to Latin American bookstores with “El niño que perdió la guerra,” a novel that tells the story of a boy sent to Russia in the last days of the Spanish Civil War.

The novel, reported a statement from Penguin Random House, will be available in Spain in September and over the next few months will reach Latin American countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, as well as the United States, both in Spanish and English.
