The Spanish Confederation of Guilds and Associations of Bookstores (CEGAL) has announced that the next edition of the Spanish Bookstore Congress, which will be the 27thedition, will be held in Valencia.

The dates are scheduled for February 2026. Organized by CEGAL, the Congress is supported by the Ministry of Culture.

Of the four candidates who initially applied, two withdrew, leaving Valencia and Galicia to compete. The Board drew lots, considering that both locations were excellent candidates to host the next Congress. In the end, Valencia was the chosen one.
