Artificial Intelligence can be an opportunity for the world of books and, therefore, the publishing sector wants, as it has always done, to be in this new scenario, taking advantage of the potential of Spanish.

However, it calls for greater involvement of public administrations to support investment and ensure adequate protection of intellectual property right holders.

For the president of the Federation of Publishers' Guilds of Spain (FGEE), Daniel Fernández, who opened the Publishing Meeting held in Sigüenza, Guadalajara, "we have a language with a presence that should allow us to position ourselves in this new world, but I do not know if we have the financial and technical capacity, as well as the will to defend its presence in this new world against the power of the great technological powers".

Daniel Fernández recalled that, "as a sector, we have adapted to almost everything, including technological changes. Now we are in a new era.
