Spain will be the Guest of Honor Country at the III International Book Fair Honduras 2024 (FIL) to be held in Tegucigalpa from August 8 to 11

The FIL Honduras will be held, for the second consecutive time, at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán (UPNFM), whose rector, Lexy Concepción Medina, highlighted in the official announcement of the literary event "the cultural ties that unite Honduras and Spain".

She added that "Spain has a vast and rich literary tradition" and that the FIL will highlight "the importance of fostering a love of books from an early age".

The FIL Honduras, which will feature 30 national and 20 international literary and publishing guests, will be held in conjunction with the Secretariat of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of the Peoples of Honduras, (SECAPH), the National Library, the Cultural Center of Spain in Tegucigalpa (CCET) and the UPNFM.
