Ángel Pérez is from Barcelona and is seventy-two years old. His love of writing started late, but, as he says, he does it with the same enthusiasm as any much younger author who began to take his first steps in literature.
About five years ago, one August night in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, he started his first novel, Detectives
It took him three years to publish it, but he also says that García Márquez let four years go by before publishing that first work. In his ordinary life he has been a commercial agent and has worked for a company in Tarragona. He considers himself a sociable person, a friend of his friends, and has other hobbies besides writing, such as cooking.
Now he presents El laberinto del amor, his fifth title in this series of Detectives. In this interview he talks about himself and many other topics. I thank him for the time given for this interview. His example proves once again that it is never too late to dedicate oneself to literature.
