under the formula that something, in this case a city, will illuminate the Fair. The management is already working on it in collaboration with the Institute of Mexican Studies at the City University of New York (CUNY), organizer of the New York Book Fair (FILNYC).

The framework of the collaboration has been defined in recent months between the FLMadrid and the Institute of Mexican Studies, which has already reached agreements with the Latin American Studies Departments of Brown University, Columbia University, Fordham University, New York University, Cornell University and Yale University to bring a delegation of researchers and professors from these institutions. In addition, they are currently in negotiations with Princeton and Harvard Universities, which have expressed their willingness to participate. The goal is to design a program that caters to the interests of the various audiences attending FLMadrid.
