José Luis Sampedro, the “Last Spanish revolucionary” dies at 96

The humanist, writer and economist died Monday in Madrid. The Latin Times publishes five things to know about Sampedro, who once said “the oldest I get, the more revolucionary I am.”

“Born in Barcelona, he lived in Tangiers, Morocco, until he was 18. He taught in the schools of Journalism and Economics in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, until he went on exile to the UK during the Franco years,” says the Latin Times. Read the five key points about Sampedro here.
