Mayte Esteban was born in Guadalajara and studied Geography and History before deciding to devote herself to writing.

She self-published her first novel in 2009 and later made the leap to the publishing world. It was with “Detrás del cristal,” followed by titles such as “La chica de las fotos,” “Sin fecha de caducidad,” “La colina del almendro,” “Aunque te cueste la vida” and “Años de mentiras,” among others. Now she presents “La lectora de Bécquer.” In this interview she talks about the novel and many other topics. I thank her very much for the time dedicated to this interview.
