The XVIII Fnac-Salamandra Graphic International Graphic Novel Award opens its call for entries and doubles the prize money.

With the aim of promoting and encouraging literary production in the field of comics, the Fnac-Salamandra Graphic International Graphic Novel Award was created in 2008

and is currently a benchmark in the comics scene, endorsed by the critical and public success of the winners of previous editions. In this edition of the award, the prize amount is 20,000 euros for the realization of the project and the work will be published by Salamandra Graphic at the end of 2025. This makes the International Graphic Novel Prize one of the awards with one of the highest prize amounts in Spain in its field.

The genre to be submitted to the competition is the comic, in its graphic novel format, and all authors (of legal age, or minors with written authorization from their legal guardians) who wish to do so, whatever their nationality or origin, may apply for the Award, as long as the works they submit conform to the commonly accepted concept of graphic novel and follow the legal bases of the competition.
