Since childhood, José Luis R. Alonso trained in telecommunications engineering because of his inclination towards technology. But he also liked to write.
When he won the Nou Barris fantasy story contest in Barcelona, he decided to pursue a master's degree in writing at the Aula de Escritores de Barcelona. He currently combines it with his job as a firefighter and has a novel to his credit entitled Marte: el fuego latente de Cidonia. In this interview he talks about it and many other topics.
