‘El hijo olvidado’ is the latest volume in the Illumbe universe, a suspense and mystery series written by Spanish sociologist and writer Mikel Santiago.
The work was published by Ediciones B in 2024, following titles such as ‘Entre los muertos’ (2022), ‘En plena noche’ (2021) and ‘El mentiroso’ (2020), respectively. The author star of the thriller genre has more than 500,000 readers.
This book does not belong to the Illumbe Trilogy, at least not directly, but it is part of a series set in this fictional town, having the main character of the first installments as a special member of the plot, so fans will be able to enjoy the development of his trajectory and the contributions he brings to the new story.
