The Spanish Ministry of Culture has opened the term for the submission of applications, on a competitive basis, to apply for grants for the financing of activities to promote Spanish reading and literature for the year 2024.
The aids, included in the Plan for the promotion of reading 2021-2024 Infinite Reading, are endowed with a total of 3,658,000 euros. The beneficiaries of these grants are private foundations, associations, NGOs (non-profit organizations) not belonging to the public sector, private companies, and city councils.
The amount of the grants called for non-profit institutions will be, at most, 1,258,000 euros; the amount corresponding to private companies will be, at most, 1,000,000 euros and the amount destined to local entities will be, at most, 1,400,000 euros.
