Review of “El gran libro de los espejos” by José María García González

The novel is set in the late Middle Ages, creating a magical universe around the search for the first mirrors.

More than twenty characters intertwine their destinies in its pages, in a series of stories that develop around the life of Yanus, a young shepherd of uncertain origin who will seek his role in the world.

After a stormy night in which a black goat of demonic symbolism appears and in which he loses his flock, Yanus leaves everything and embarks on a journey in which he meets Ise, the assistant of Cónstantin, who performs a mysterious show with a strange mirror.
