LéaLA has become the largest Hispanic book fair in the U.S.

Publishers Weekly released this piece on the still young, but popular book fair. Backed by Guadalajara International Book Fair and the University of Guadalajara in Los Angeles, this event seeks to promote not only books but also reading and Latino culture in general.

“Authors and publishers from the U.S., Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, and Cuba participate in this three day festival of books,” says the story. “LéaLA organizers anticipate close to 100,000 people over this three-day event, which is free to the public.”

LéaLA will be celebrated May 17-19 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Read the complete article about the fair here.
