Writer's Portal and Crononauta Cultural Association announce the V Ripley Prize for science fiction and horror novels.

suffered a serious blow: sadly, the publisher that was in charge of its publication, Triskel Ediciones, closed its doors. However, the spirit of the Ripley award was still alive in Diana P. Morales, director of Portal del Escritor, who proposed to the Crononauta Cultural Association to collect the baton of this award.

And so, as a result of multiple conversations between the two parties involved, on September 29th, 2021, we published new rules that follow the tradition of the Ripley Award and that, at the same time, are framed in the editorial line of the Crononauta Cultural Association.

On this occasion, the contest, aimed at women and non-binary people residing in Spain. The deadline to submit works closes on May 31st. Original and unpublished novels written in Spanish of between 40,000 and 75,000 words are accepted. The theme is free, as long as it falls within the science fiction or horror genre.
