Review of “Guía de lugares imaginarios” by Alberto Manguel and Gianni Guadalupi - Alianza Editorial.

'Guía de lugares imaginarios' -or “Guide of imaginary places,” its original name in English- is a brief encyclopedia oriented to the "tourism" of places belonging to some of the most important fictions of the last 50 years.

The work was written by Alberto Manguel and Gianni Guadalupi and illustrated by Graham Greenfields and James Cook. The former was the draftsman of the general art, the latter of the maps.

It was published on November 1, 1994, by Alianza, and was translated into Spanish by Ana María Becciu, Javier Setó Melis and Borja García Bercero. Upon its release, the book received mostly positive reviews and, to date, is one of the top one hundred best-selling titles on Amazon.
