In Tenerife Noir Eduardo Bastos Sanz received the award that accredits him as winner of the Wilkie Collins Award for Crime Novel from M.A.R. Editor for his novel 'Oculto entre las sombras."

The award was presented by the Director of Tenerife Noir, Alejandro Martin. The ceremony was held in Ámbito Cultural of El Cortes Inglés. Eduardo Bastos succeeds writer Vic Echegoyen, winner of the XII edition with "Sacamantecas".

When presenting "Oculto entre las sombras" in Ámbito Cultural, Eduardo Bastos said: "I am aware that, for my first novel, it was very daring to get the reader fully involved in the investigation, but I wanted them to feel firsthand the stress that police officers feel when they are immersed in a case and time plays against them".
