The Spanish Ministry of Culture, through the General Directorate of Books, Comics and Reading, will celebrate the 2nd Comics and Comic Book Day, ..

which will take place on March 17, with a program of activities that will be held throughout Spain during the week prior to the event.

The Comic Week will start next Monday, March 11, with the hanging of banners on the façade of the central headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, which will carry the image of the poster designed by Borja González, who won the National Comic Prize 2023. According to the artist, the design aims to emphasize the need for "a slow and comprehensive reading".

That same morning, the second meeting of the Comic Working Group, related to the Mesa del Libro will take place.  This group was created for the purpose of analyzing the current situation and boosting the comic sector in Spain through cooperative dialogue between the different agents involved.
