You can check out the first editions of authors such as Cervantes, Francisco de Quevedo, Lope de Vega, Benito Pérez Galdós, Calderón de la Barca, and Fernando de Rojas
Having the first edition of Don Quixote in our hands is now possible. The Royal Spanish Academy has launched a new project so that users can read the original version of the stories by the most recognized Spanish authors free and from the comfort of your home.
Through the Digital Library initiative, these literary gems have been made available to anyone who wants to read them in the format in which they were first published. The academy has digitized more than 4,800 works, spread across 5,250 volumes, which are kept under strict conditions so that they do not deteriorate. Therefore, readers did not have the possibility of seeing them up close. Now, through your device you will be able to appreciate all the details.
