The call for Publication Grants from the Spanish Ministry of Culture is now open. The Official State Gazette of yesterday, December 13, has published the Extract of the Order of November 28, 2023,

which calls for subsidies, under a demanding competition system, for the publishing of books corresponding to 2024.

The maximum amount of the subsidies called will be 1,150,000 euros, in favor of the beneficiary publishing companies. Those who can apply are companies (legal entities and self-employed persons) whose activity and corporate purpose, solely or among others, is the publishing of books. The purpose of this line of aid is the publication of books in Spanish, in the other official languages of the different autonomous communities, in Spanish sign language, in the 'Grade 1' Braille system or in audiobook format that, regardless of the nationality of the authors, contribute to the enrichment of the Spanish bibliographic heritage.
