Las hijas de la criada' (Planeta, 2023) is the winning novel of the 2023 Planeta Prize. It was written by the presenter and novelist Sonsoles Ónega, whose mission is to tell us in this book a little piece of her family's Galicia throughout her Galician lineage.

At the beginning of the 20th century in a Galician manor, two babies are born, Clara and Catalina. Two very different destinies were prepared for these two girls, but the hatred of the adults will change their future as the world around them is also transformed.
