Manuel Jabois inaugurates the new season of the Club Lectura of EL PAÍS and Babelia

The journalist and writer will speak with a group of newspaper subscribers about 'Mirafiori', his latest book.

EL PAÍS journalist and writer Manuel Jabois (Sanxenxo, Pontevedra, 1978) published his latest book, “Mirafiori,” last October. As is customary for the author, the novel analyzes the personal relationships, in this case, of its protagonists, a couple of lovers who have known each other since adolescence.  But it adds a supernatural ingredient: Valentina Barreiro, successful actress and main character, sees ghosts. This novel opens the second season of the EL PAÍS and Babelia Reading Club, an exclusive activity for the newspaper's subscribers that closes each reading with a face-to-face meeting with the author.

In its first season (from November 2022 to June 2023), the Reading Club brought together more than 1,000 readers. Almost 300 of them were able to speak with the writers Luis García Montero, Elvira Lindo, Rosa Montero, Laura Restrepo, Lara Moreno, Santiago Posteguillo, Laura Ferrero and Marta Sanz.
