178 publishers will represent Spain at the FIL in Guadalajara

More than 170 publishing labels, led by the Federation of Publishers Guilds of Spain (FGEE), will represent Spain at the 37th edition of the Guadalajara International Book Fair.

This year's edition opened its doors on November 25 and will last until December 3. The European Union is this year’s guest of honor.

The FGEE will have two stands, totaling 208 square meters, where a total of 56 publishers will exhibit their material: 32 labels in the first stand and the remaining 24 in another, both located in the Blue Pavilion – international area. The other 122 publishing labels, agencies and distributors will be present in individual stands or in spaces reserved by their respective publishing houses, which have their own representation and offices in Mexico.

The FIL of Guadalajara, as its organization has explained, in addition to being the largest book fair in the Latin American region and one of the largest in the world, "is an important cultural event that displays all forms of artistic expression, cultural manifestations and exchanges of civil society and academics. The FIL is a social and media event that attracts more than 800,000 visitors, has more than 15 million followers on its social networks and is covered by more than 2,000 press, media and journalists professionals.”
