The tenth edition of Literal, the fair of radical ideas and books, will take place on the weekend of May 25 and 26, 2024, and will be held at the Fabra i Coats venue in Barcelona.

The organization has announced that the registration period is now open for independent publishers and bookstores that want to participate.

The fair is aimed at those publishers and bookstores whose greater part  of their catalog is specialized in critical thinking. Those that are part of publishing groups, large stores or chains are excluded. Once registration is closed, the Literal organizing committee will decide on the applications and will individually inform the requesting publishers and bookstores whether they have been admitted. The registration period will close on January 14. The forecast is that a hundred publishers will participate in the book market and that the program will include fifty activities.

La Literal is promoted by the Economía Social y Solidaria (Social and Solidarity Economy), and is a fair that wants, in the words of the organization, "to bring the general public closer to the culture that is made from the margins and thus make visible these other centers of cultural production."
