Despite the numerous difficulties of the last three editions, the event has demonstrated its solidity – with an estimated attendance of some 300,000 people and 15,000 attendees to its program of activities – and has been a resounding success, as well as a necessary propeller for the Sevillian book sector, which has been in a critical situation for some time.
Exhibitors, despite the weather incident that forced the fair to close due to a rain and wind alert on the morning of November 2, have increased their sales by an average of 7% compared to the previous year, which was a record edition in terms of sales for bookstores, publishers and entities with booths at the event.
