The writers have been recognized by the Association of Madrid Writers and Critics for their books 'Las formas del querer' and 'Un año y tres meses.’

The Madrid Critics' Prize is awarded since 2008 by the Association of Madrid Writers and Critics in the categories of novel and poetry, respectively.

In the case of Inés Martín Rodrigo, who currently works on the literary supplement abril of Prensa Ibérica, the award is for Las formas del querer, the novel with which she won the Nadal prize in 2022 and which since then has been having a great reception by the public. In the words of jury member Francico J. Castañón, Las formas del querer is a surprising novel, capable of showing a moment in the history of Spain and, in the same way, involve the reader in a suggestive, dynamic, and original story.
