The new lives of books are a very popular topic today when audiovisual streaming platforms bombard us daily with new movie and series releases.

This frenetic pace of audiovisual production must be sustained by scripts, by stories, and production companies are increasingly delving deeper into editorial catalogs in search of stories, already told before, that can be adapted to the screen.

In this way, there has been a lot of merging between the publishing and audiovisual industries of all types and genres, such as Books at Berlinale, Rodando Páginas, or the one we are discussing on this occasion, Adapta Book Madrid 2023, which this year celebrates its second edition.

The Adapta Book Madrid Festival is a meeting point between the publishing, theater, and film sectors to take the measure of young local authors and screenwriters, promoted by Culturia and the Adapta Market platform. The festival will take place from November 13 to 16 at the Iván de Vargas Municipal Library in Madrid, the TAI School of Arts, the Galileo Cultural Center, Longoria Palace (SGAE headquarters) and Casa de las Alhajas (Auditorio Team Labs).
