The Ministry of Culture and Sports of Spain commemorates Library Day today, October 24. Under the motto 'Tejiendo comunidades', (Weaving communities) it promotes initiatives throughout the territory that aim to involve both library users of any style and their professionals.
The central institutional event will take place at 6 p.m. at the Regional Library of Murcia / State Public Library in Murcia and will be broadcast via streaming. During it, the relationship between libraries, reading and mental health will be discussed in the round table "Páginas que cambian las vidas: la lectura y su influencia en la salud y bienestar" (Pages that change lives: reading and its influence on health and well-being). This event will be attended by members of social organizations and NGOs, as well representatives from the Fuenlabrada University Hospital.
