Press release from Penguin Random House Editorial Group

Miami, October 24, 2023, celebrates the arrival of great authors at the Book Fair. November becomes a literary festival when Miami Book Fair opens its doors to important Ibero-American authors.

Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial presents the writers who will be its ambassadors at such an important event.

The Spanish program of the fair will be inaugurated by the award-winning Spanish journalist and narrator Rosa Montero, who combined her lyrics with those of the French writer Olivier Truc to jointly publish “La desconocida,” her return to the crime novel with this work that takes place between Barcelona and Lyon.

In the midst of this wave of discontent sweeping the world, in which fewer and fewer people feel truly happy, Andrés Oppenheimer presents “Como salir del pozo,” where he explains a series of studies and innovations to reverse the trend of discontent and increase happiness. The book provides concrete and accessible solutions to increase life satisfaction.

Armando Lucas Correa brings us “La viajera nocturna,” a novel that begins with the rise of Nazism in Germany, goes through the Cuban Revolution, and ends with the fall of the Berlin Wall, narrated through four generations of women who become living testimonies of the power of maternal love.

Cristina Rivera Garza will also be at the fair presenting “El invencible verano de Liliana,” a very personal work in which she celebrates the passing of her sister on earth, Liliana Rivera Garza, a victim of femicide.
