'Nos quieren Muertos' is a non-fiction novel written by award-winning Spanish author Javier Moro. The work was published in 2023 by the Espasa Publishing House.

Long before its official launch, the book had already attracted rumors, negative comments, controversies, and direct attacks from anonymous users on social networks, who began to wonder if “Nos quieren Muertos” was a request from the protagonist of the story.

Immediately after the first malicious statement, the writer advocated for his novel. He stated before different media outlets that he spent three years writing the book, and conducting interviews with more than 500 people, including the main characters. Moro affirms that he expected a similar reaction from the critics.
