According to the data collected by the Union of Spanish University Publishers (UNE) and offered in the new portal created and integrated into its website, this portal offers the main publication, bibliographic, quality and impact data of these publications.

Specifically, the publishers of the 72 universities and research centers that make up the UNE publish 981 journals, of which 963 (98%) do so in open access and 813 (84%) under diamond route criteria, that is, publication costs are borne entirely by some institution. In addition, 160 of them are published following the green route, which allows authors to deposit a peer-reviewed version of the article in an institutional or thematic archive.
