The king of Spanish thrillers has published six novels and is considered one of the leading mystery authors.
With a unique style, he has sold more than two million copies and one of his works, “La chica de nieve” (The Snow Girl), has been adapted into a series by Netflix. Castillo was born in Mijas, Málaga on August 26, 1987.
Father of three children and married to the influencer Verónica Díaz, the now writer studied Business and has a master’s degree in management at ESCP Europe. Once he finished his studies, he started working as a financial advisor and took advantage of the train commute to work to write his first novel, 'El día que perdió la cordura'. Initially, it was published on the Kindle Direct Publishing platform, but after its success, several publishers became interested and it was finally published on paper in 2017, by the Suma de Letras publishing house.
