The Ministry of Culture announced this Wednesday the decision of the jury to award the National Literature Prize in the Poetry category to Yolanda Castaño. The award is worth 30,000 euros.

The jury highlights her work “Materia” for “the powerful poetic overture in which each state of matter is expressed in its own tone, with poems of a heart-wrenching and original metaphysics, which points to both the beginning and the origin with an extraordinary evocative and sensory force.”
