David Botello is from Madrid and a well-known face in the media, especially as a historical newscaster. He is also a writer and scriptwriter and hosts programs such as El punto sobre la Historia and Esto es otra historia, on Telemadrid,

partnering with fellow author, Carmen Sánchez-Risco. Among his books are “Follones, amoríos, sinrazones, enredos, trapicheos y otros tejemanejes del siglo XIX,” “Los vikingos no tenían cuernos,” and “Felipe el Hermoso. Anatomía de un crimen”.
