The latest works by Antonio Muñoz Molina, Arturo Pérez-Reverte, Mario Vargas Llosa, Virginie Despentes, Laura Fernández, Elisa Victoria and the recovered stories of Lucia Berlin, among other interesting proposals, have arrived.
It is a season to welcome with love, pampering and enthusiasm. First, because essential names arrive at bookstores, established for decades and with plenty of faithful readers. From Antonio Muñoz Molina to Mario Vargas Llosa and Arturo Pérez-Reverte, each in their genre.
But there are also novels that have very interesting expectations, such as the latest by Elisa Victoria (she has already written works that are worth considering), the stories of Laura Fernández or the new novel by the Frenchwoman that needs no introduction, Virginie Despentes, who apparently comes back with less punk style than usual. And, also, a novel that comes with good reviews, such as the one by Verónica Raimo, who is triumphing in Italy, the new one by Ali Smith —another author of great reviews in recent years— and the stories by Lucia Berlin, who has already reached success in 2016.
