A selection of books for grandparents’ day

Grandparents. Always so indispensable, endearing and remembered. Today their day is celebrated and that is why this selection of books is, for, and about them, the essential protagonists in our lives.

Let’s take a look at the titles from all genres.

The first of the selection is “El abuelo que saltó por la Ventana y se largó,” by Jonas Jonasson (Ediciones Salamandra). The Swedish writer Jonas Jonasson decided to go against the current of the noir novel so popular among the authors of his country and achieved the success of his life when this title was published in 2012.

In it he introduced us to one of the most unique and fun characters of recent decades. Because Allan Karlsson is a centenary grandfather who still has a lot to live for and a long bucket list, so shortly before celebrating those 100 years, he decides to run away from the residence where he lives and embark on a trip as bizarre as it is crazy.
