The submission period for the IV Libros del Asteroide Non-Fiction Award will be open until November 12th.

This award was developed after the success of published proposals such as “El mal dormir,” by David Jiménez; “Fieras familiares,” by Andrés Cota Hiriart and “14 de Abril,” by Paco Cerdà, recognized for this work with the 2022 Navarra Bookstores Award and the 2023 Crítica Valenciana Award. The period will be open until November 12th.

The prize, which is characterized by being awarded to a project and not to a finished work, aims to advertise and promote the creation of literary non-fiction in the Spanish language and entries for essays, memoirs, biography, and coverage are valued. Applicants can send their works before November 12th of this year and only projects of unpublished works will be eligible for the award.
