The Boixareu Ginesta Award for Bookseller of the Year will be held on October 5th as part of the LIBER 2023 activities.

The Federation of Publishers Guilds of Spain (FGEE) has awarded the Boixareu Ginesta prize for Bookseller of the Year to Casa del Libro de la Gran Vía in Madrid on their one hundredth anniversary. The delivery of this award will be on October 5th within the framework of the activities of the International Book Fair, LIBER 2023, which this year is held at IFEMA MADRID, from October 4th to the 6th.

Since 1995, the 'Boixareu Ginesta' award distinguishes the work of those booksellers and bookstores that play an important role in the development and promotion of literary culture and contribute to the consolidation of the book chain in their fields of action. In this edition, the Board of Directors of the FGEE has decided to award this prize to the Casa del Libro de la Gran Vía in Madrid for being a hallmark of the city for one hundred years and a benchmark for Ibero-American visitors.
