With the title "Literatura Infantil para (re)evolucionar el mundo" is the name of the seminar organized by the “Plan de Lectura de la Seremi de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio de la Región Metropolitana de Santiago de Chile,”..

 which will take place on August 3rd and 4th and will have the collaboration of the Centro Cultural de España in Santiago.

The initiative will focus on the social role of Children and Young Adult Literature (LIJ), providing a current overview of its status in Chile and Latin America, in addition to addressing its importance in social and cultural development, considering issues such as gender equality, caring for the environment, globalization, interculturality, censorship, history and human rights.

Its extensive program includes five keynote speeches, four clinics and a panel. Responsible for these activities will be renowned representatives from the world of writing, publishing, mediation, teaching, research and management of children and young adult literature projects from Chile, Spain, and Venezuela.
