The Federación de Gremios de Editores de España (Spanish Federation of Publishing Guilds) conducted a study that reveals that 63 percent of that country's population, 14 years and older, dedicate some of their time to read. It also describes the profile of the Spaniard reader: a woman with college education, that lives in the city and prefers novels, book in Spanish, and reads as a form of entertainment.
The study also shows that 47.8 percent of the readers read in two or more languages, if they don't read they said it is because there is not enough time, and 9.7 percent own an e-reader. If you want to see other interesting facts and the complete results, click here.
