Memory and history in the XXXVI Crime Week of Gijón

Gijón's Crime Week will be attended by writers such as Laura Mas and Cristina Fallarás, who will offer entertaining readings on controversial characters

such as Hypatia and Juana the Mad. Books by Alfonso Mateo-Sagasta, José Manuel Fajardo, Julio Gomariz, Carlos Gordon, Gerardo Pisarello, José Antonio Uris and Víctor Manuel Santidrián, which address historical issues such as Francoism and Nazi concentration camps, will also be presented.

The festival will take place from July 7 to 16 in Gijón.

The writers Laura Mas and Cristina Fallarás, who introduce us to the controversial characters of Hypatia and Juana the Mad respectively, ensure entertaining and performative readings at the festival.
