May R. Ayamonte is a young writer from Huelva who is carving out a successful niche in the current literary scene.
She has already published a few novels, including “Amor mas allá de la unicidad,” “Iris,” the first two parts of the Infinite trilogy, “Besos entre líneas,” “De nadie,” “Contracorriente,” “Mar profundo,” and “Las niñas salvajes.” Her latest novel is “Las aguas sagradas,” where she has gone to the crime genre. In this interview she talks about the book and several other topics. I would like to thank her communications agency and May for taking the time for this interview.
AL: Your latest novel is entitled “Las aguas sagradas.” What can you tell us about it and where did the idea come from?
MRA: “Las aguas sagradas” is a crime novel with historical and political overtones set in Granada. It begins when a corpse appears in the center of the city and banners with riddles announcing that more murders will occur... It is a story that has two female protagonists who take turns narrating the story.
