The Government of Spain has promoted the creation of the Audio Space with the aim of promoting, invigorating, and internationalizing the entire industry dedicated to audio in Spanish and co-official languages,

such as podcasts, music, audiobooks, among other audio-creative industries.

The program, which is part of the Strategic Project (PERTE) of the Nueva Economía de la Lenguae (New Language Economy), contemplates an investment of 160 million euros through loans with favorable financial conditions for the industry, from the second phase of the Recovery Plan (Addenda) which was requested from the European Commission on June 6.

In an event organized in Madrid by the State Coordinating Cultural Association of Private Live Music Venues (ACCES) on the eve of European Music Day, the First Vice President and Minister for Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, stressed the importance of Audio space to transform the industry.
