Benito Olmo has become one of the most prominent names of crime novels in Spain.

The result of hard research work –which, in the words of the author, has led him to discover things that have made his hair stand on end− "Los días felices" (AdN, 2023), his new novel, delves into the business of clandestine fights and in the networks of exploitation of beggars.

"Los días felices" tells the story of Ayla, a young woman who has everything against her. She is sixteen years old, she is an immigrant, she earns a living boxing and, as if that were not enough, she must take care of her father who has Alzheimer's.
