
According to Washington state-based Herald Net, studies suggest students in dual-language programs do better academically than their peers in single-language classes, but there are not enough teachers qualified to teach in a second language.
“Monroe [in the state of Washington] offers different programs to help students learn English but was looking for a program that benefited English speakers, as well,” reports Herald Net. “So far, parents praise the program because they want their children to learn a second language at an early age.
