Actualidad Literatura interviews the writer Andrea Morales

Andrea D. Morales has already published a few novels, including “Crónicas del mar,” “Bajo la luz del faro,” and “Las brujas de Tintagelha.” Her latest work, which has just been published is titled “La dama de la judería.”

In this interview she talks about it and several other topics:  My thanks to her for the time and kindness given to me. AL: Your new novel is entitled “La dama de la judería.” What can you tell us about it and where did the idea come from?

ADM: “La dama de la judería” is a historical novel set in medieval Seville at the end of the 15th century. It is a love story between a girl, the daughter of a rich converted merchant, and a young man who belongs to the Guzmanes noble family. He wants to find out if what the gossips say is true: that his beloved and her entire family practice Judaism in private, which would lead her to be accused of heresy. She must decide whether to be faithful to her family and her people or to the knight who courts her.
