The FGEE has awarded the LIBER 2023 prize for the best audiovisual adaptation of a literary work to the series 'Los pacientes del doctor García', based on the same titled novel by Almudena Grandes.

Likewise, FGEE has decided to grant the LIBER 2023 prize for the promotion of reading in the media to the supplement 'La Lectura' frm El Mundo.

Regarding the supplement "La Lectura", a weekly magazine that has been distributed every Friday together with El Mundo since January 2022, the FGEE board of directors wanted to highlight "the careful attention it pays to editorial news, the brilliance of its presentation and having become, despite being fairly new, a benchmark in the literary and cultural world".

The presentation of these awards will be on October 5 within the framework of the activities of the International Book Fair, Liber 2023, which this year is held in Madrid.
